Students with exceptional academic records can apply for fully supported master’s fellowships through the EPFL Excellence Scholarship Switzerland.
This scholarship includes CHF 10,000 per semester, housing reservations in a dorm, and an excellence certificate at the conclusion of the course of study.

Details of the EPFL Excellence Scholarship:
- Students who completed their Bachelor’s degree at EPFL as well as those who started their university education at a different school are eligible to apply for the CHF 10,000 a semester EPFL Excellence Scholarship.
- Their goal is to give students the freedom to focus on their Master’s degree while simultaneously giving them the chance to participate in a range of activities that will broaden their professional horizons and help them hone their cross-disciplinary talents.
- 29 Master’s programs are available at EPFL. The two colleges and five faculties that comprise the School are home to the programs.
Requirements for EPFL Excellence Fellowship 2024 Eligibility:
- You need to have fulfilled the following requirements in order to be eligible for the EPFL Excellence Scholarship:
- The scholarship in Switzerland is open to applicants to EPFL Master’s programs from any country and of any nationality.
- Applying to one of the EPFL Masters Programs is open to anybody with a Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) in a comparable discipline from an accredited university.
- The candidates’ academic records are the only consideration in the selection process and the allocation of fellowship funds.
Advantages of the 2024 EPFL Excellence Scholarship
- A two-year degree costs CHF 40000 ($45,650), whereas a 1.5-year degree costs CHF 30000. Each semester, the cost is CHF 10,000.
